With the start of every new quarter, we always make it a point to pull back from our day-to-day and evaluate how the business is doing. It always feels hard to pause, and we’re always glad that we did it.
Spring especially is an important time to pause and reflect. Now that we’ve gotten through the first quarter, how are we tracking towards topline goals, how are our people are doing, and are we in compliance?
A little “spring cleaning” can go a long way! As you gear up for the quarter ahead, we've put together a checklist to guide you.
Conscious Culture’s “Spring Cleaning” Checklist:
Have you checked in on how your employees are tracking towards the goals you set at the start of the year?
Have goals shifted at all? (If so, have you communicated and aligned around the new goals?)
Have you given your team members feedback on their performance lately?
Do we know how engaged and productive your team members are?
Are you training managers on how to have conversations with their team about pay?*
Did you review your Handbook at the beginning of the year?
If you’re in CA, did you set up a 401k for your team?
This doesn’t have to be overly time consuming or complicated… Start by carving out 30-60 minutes to go through this with your leadership team, identify any action items, and add them to your roadmap.
